Why Milan’s Children are Playing on the Streets Again (Part 2) with Demetrio Scopelliti (Director Urban Planning and Public Space, City of Milan)

Live from Milan I interview Demetrio Scopelliti (Director of Urban Planning and Public Space, city of Milan). “Designing public space is designing for the unexpected,”  was the key phrase of part 1, but that interview was bye zoom.

Demetrio asked me to  really see the project live myself, so I got on the train from Amsterdam to Milan and we had a special interview at the Piazze Aperte while the kids were really playing on his designed new public space in the city of Milan.

This episode (part 2) is a collaboration with the Dutch Cycling Embassy.
